The Job Placement and Training assistance program is designed to assist Fort Peck Tribal Members who are moving off the reservation to obtain and retain permanent employment.

Qualifications
Must be an enrolled member, residing on or near the Fort Peck Indian Reservation
Must be moving off the reservation to obtain full-time employment
If applying for on-the-job training the training must lead to permanent employment; seasonal work does not qualify

Application Checklist
Completed application for assistance
Proof of residency on the Fort Peck Reservation, minimum of three (3) months. (i.e. Utility Bill, Rent Receipts, etc.)
Copy of CIB
Selective Service Registration (applicable to men only)
If needing help with rent and deposit, the landlord will need to submit a W9 which is included in the application.
Verification of Employment
Copy of Lease/rental agreement
NOTE: All of these items listed above must be submitted or to complete your file and incomplete applications will not be considered for funding.
Amount of Direct Employment Assistance
In-State Moving Assistance: $300
Out-of-State Moving Assistance: $500
Rent & Deposit Assistance: based upon location. Maximum amount is up to $3,000.
