The Adult Vocational Training Program provides financial assistance to aid students in gaining and/or maintaining full-time, permanent employment.

Qualifications

  • Be an enrolled member of the Fort Peck Tribes

  • Possess a High School Diploma or GED/HiSET

  • Be accepted into a regionally accredited post-secondary institution

  • Be PELL eligible

Application Checklist

  • Adult Vocational Training Application/Need Assessment Form

  • Copy of most recent unofficial college transcript(s)

  • Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB)

  • Copy of high school diploma or GED

  • Copy of acceptance letter from college

  • Copy of DD214 Member 4 (If claiming Veterans Preference-Only

    those with an Honorable Discharge will be given Preference)

NOTE: All of these items listed above must be submitted or to complete your file and incomplete applications will not be considered for funding.

Please Note

The Fort Peck Tribes Adult Vocational Training Program is intended to be supplemental.  Students should seek other scholarships or grants available.  Also, students should check with your institution for campus based aid.  Please feel free to contact our office for other scholarship resources.

Your Adult Vocational Training Program will be suspended if we do not receive your grades by the deadline.  If you encounter a problem and you cannot get your grades to the Education Department by the deadlines you must submit written documentation from the Registrar’s Office.

Deadlines

Fall Semester - January 10th
Spring Semester - June 10th
Summer Semester - September 10th

For students on a Quarterly basis you must submit your grades within 15 days of end of each quarter.
