The Higher Education Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to students who plan on attending a 2 or 4 year accredited institution.

Qualifications
Be an enrolled member of the Fort Peck Tribes
Possess a High School Diploma or GED/HiSET
Be accepted into a regionally accredited post-secondary institution
Be PELL eligible

Copy of most recent unofficial college transcript(s)
Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB)
Copy of high school diploma or GED
Copy of acceptance letter from college
Copy of DD214 Member 4 (If claiming Veterans Preference-Only
those with an Honorable Discharge will be given Preference)

Education Department Standards
The Tribal Scholarship program administered by the Education Department has specific eligibility criteria that applicants must meet when submitting their applications:

Actively pursuing an Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree.

Submission of a completed application by the specified deadline.

Possession of a minimum of 12 credits with a GPA of at least 2.0 on the incoming transcript.

Completion of an online Financial Literacy Training provided by the Education Department (Attach Financial Needs Analysis form).
